Finalizing editing (music video)

After Margarita and I finished editing the first six scenes of our music video, we proceeded the next day with the rest of the scenes. The next scene to be edited was the running scene. For this scene we wanted to edit negative words into the video while they chased behind me in the scene. This was to illustrate how negative words can be hurtful and many people try to not get influenced by these negative thoughts. To do this we decided to use Cute CUT Pro to edit the words following/moving behind me in the scene. I suggested that we should edit the same words we used on the mirror scene into the running scene. The words Margarita edited onto the running scene were added through text on Cute CUT Pro. Then, I discussed the color of the words with Margarita since the words were initially white but it blended in with the wall in the background so we changed the color to black. Once the words were in the right color and text, we put them in the correct positions as I had suggested to Margarita my idea of putting the words in some sort of group as they moved behind me. We added custom transitions to all of the words and reduced the duration. Margarita positioned the words on the right side of the frame and shared the final product of the scene and I gave her a thumps up for the good work and we moved on to the next scene.

For the second running scene I would be chasing positive thoughts to represent women all around the world becoming confident and loving themselves. We used the text tool in Cute CUT Pro again for this scene. The words were now positioned on the left side of the frame and we followed the same procedure as we had for the editing in the first running scene. Next, I suggested that we change the color of the words to pastel colors to show the positivity of the words. We also decided to add a border to the words to make them standout. Finally, on the last scene we decided to add the phrase "Love Yourself" using the text tool from Cute CUT Pro. We made the words fade in and out using a transition. We also decided to make the song at the end of the video fade out to sync with the words. Lastly, both of us had the idea of adding a filter to the scenes to make them more colorful. We did this by using the filter tool and we played around with the different functions until we got the result we wished for. We finalized the editing of the music video after adding filters.
