Planning for the final task: location, sound, participants, health, and schedule

 Schedule

  • 3/8/2021- The filming begins this day. On March 8, 2021, we will film scenes one, two, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen. We will only film these scenes these days because the setting is the same, and these scenes are only require the actor playing Johnny. On this day, we will also record the voice overs needed. 
  • 3/10/2021- On this day, we will record the remaining scenes, which are three through eleven. We will also record the voice overs that occur in those scenes. These scenes are going to be recorded in a different days because we have different settings. 
  • 3/12/2021 to 3/14/2021- We will commence the editing on March 12, 2021. We will edit our opening sequence in After Effect CC 2017. For March 13, 2021, and March 14, 2021, we will continue editing and reviewing our final tack. 
  • 3/19/2021 to 3/20/2021- On these days, we will be answering the required reflection questions. We plan to have our final task ready for cambridge. 
Location 
  • Scene one, two, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen: We will use the actor's bedroom to record.
  • Scene three, six, seven, ten and eleven: We will film these scenes in Pompano Community Park. 
  • Scene four, eight, and nine: These scenes will be recorded in a place filled with trees setting. 
  • Scene five: This will be recorded at my house. 
Health and Safety
  • Since we are living during the pandemic, we have to take more precautions than usual. We will make sure that everyone is wearing their masks except the actors when they are acting and once they are done, they will put their masks on. 
  • When we are in the parks filming, we will practice our social distancing. Well make sure that when we attend the parks, there is not a lot of people around. Once we leave the parks, we will use hand sanitizer to disinfect.

Final task: Filming and editing process

As of recently, my partner and I have to decided to start our filming process on March 8, 2021. Unfortunately we could not begin filming before due to serveral reasons. Our actress playing Irene, is out of town and will be arriving March 6, 2021, which is the major reason of why we decided to begin on March 8. The actor playing Johnny also could not film earlier because he had plans involving school homework, studying for several tests and work. My partner and I looked out for our actors and decided to begin filming on a day everybody would be available.  We finished all of our planning and research and now we will prepare for filming. As of now, we have not changed or added new locations for our opening sequence. We have set all of our plans for our settings and when we will go to our assigned locations. Genre Research: The Giver

What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? Another movie we will use to base our final task on is The Giver.  The Giver is a science fiction movie which is based on a novel. The setting of  The Giver was in an isolated piece of land broken off and disconnected from the rest of the world. This set up the plot of the story of the film.  In the movie they use a lot of different filming techniques to express the different emotions throughout the film.  Since the movie is about "The receiver of memories" they use zooms, close-ups, establishing shots, track, mid-shots, low and high angles and many more to show the emotions of the characters in the story.
